Joy, Jayne, Heron, Lynda, Meryl and Jill
This is our Thursday hiking group. Yes, Jill and Dana are hiking. We have been twice now. Last Thursday the hike was about 7 km, some of it up rocky mountainside. Yikes! The views on the way up and down are amazing, through many varieties of protea including King Protea pictured here.
The view from the top extended from the Atlantic to the East to the Indian Ocean to the West, all of the False Bay Coastland and inland almost to Cape Town.
