Cuenca is a walking city. We walk to the fruit and vegetable market, the wine store, the bakery and the hardware store. We walk to visit the flower market, museums, churches and the university. And then we may just walk to look and see this new place.
Where most people observe at eye level, Dana is a 360 degree looker. So he was the first to notice the sidewalks of Cuenca. The patterns and designs are unique to neighborhoods, blocks, special landmarks, or sometimes it seems there will be a set placed on a random whim.
