A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose

24 Oct

Adelaide is the “city of roses.” We see them everywhere. Most home gardens, especially front gardens, have multiple bushes and all look healthy and bountiful. Come see…

A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose is a quote by Gertrude Stein.

What perfect timing for your stay in Adelaide. Rose season! Reminds me of Dana’s roses in SB. I’m curious– do they have Japanese beetles in Australia?

I have looked at quite a few roses in a variety of locat”ions and they are the healthiest I have ever seen. I don’t know about Japanese beetles though. I will have to ask. We even have a delicate rose “tree” in our back garden.

Such variety of spectacular colors. I can almost smell their fragrance. Reminds me of the rose gardens you showed us in Santa Barbara. And Dana’s photography is awesome. You are certainly “smelling the flowers along the way”, both literally and figuratively.
