Patterns and Colors

9 Mar

We found a little weaving shop in Cerro Conception. The colorful patterns are their own art. Enjoy.

Wow. It must have been dizzying to be in the midst of it all. Was it easy to choose your favorite?

No, it was a real challenge. I laid all of my top choices out then eliminated one by one. What I wanted was a design compatible with the new aboriginal art piece we chose in Adelaide. Choosing for friends was easier than for us.

I hope you’re bring some back – they’d go well with New Mexican artwork.

Hi Ellen: We are bringing back two pieces of art from the trip. One is an aboriginal painting and the other is one of these weavings. Looking forward to framing and finding the right place for them at home. J
