We were walking home on this sunny Sunday afternoon and passed by the Naxxar Parish Church. The bride and groom were just exiting the front doors of the church to be greeted by rose petals and champagne. The bride came through the doors raising her arms in victory and the guests gathered for hugs all around. I noticed many 1950s style mink stoles, some blond. Remember those? And very, very high patent leather stiletto heels. After much hugging, kissing and toasting on the church steps all were on their way, and so were we.
