Guanajuato has been called “the place of the frogs” (Frogs are ranas in Spanish.) because the shape of mountains surrounding the town was said to look like the outline of a frog. We don’t really see this. But you do see a lot of frogs in Guanajuato. We found these in a local park.

Must take a lot of the local weed to get a frog that big that stoned…….he looks like he’s gonna croak off any time……..wonder what spanish sounds like spoken with a frog accent……is frog a local dish?
Yes actually frog legs are quite a popular local dish with salsa of course.
